Description
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:
To operate Warehouse management system, SynQ, and other necessary software systems to solve and oversee AutoStore issues, exceptions, and discrepancies.
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Receive work orders and prioritize tasks to meet operational goals and customer demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Using the warehouse management system and AutoStore control software to cycle count and adjust product within the AutoStore safely and accurately.
- Resolve pick and pack exception totes and boxes adjusting within the AutoStore.
- Accurately reprint labels as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including proper handling of equipment, materials, hazardous substances as well as maintaining cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
- Maintains work areas in a neat and orderly condition.
- Works safely and complies with all established safety rules and practices.
- Keeps supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems and related information necessary for effective management. Coordinates and communicates plans and activities with others, as appropriate to ensure a coordinated work effort and team approach.
- Performs related work as apparent or assigned.

- High School education or equivalent.
- Ability to work a schedule based on the understanding of responsibilities and priorities.
- Ability to accurately read and match numbers.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions and communicate to personnel.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work in a manner that promotes a safe working environment.
- Ability to contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Ability to obtain equipment license or power equipment certification as required.
- Previous experience operating an AutoStore system or similar systems (WMS) and inventory control software is preferable but not required.
- Demonstrates Northern Tool + Equipment’s 12 Core Competencies.
