HUMAN RESOURCES INTERNSHIP  

As an HR Intern, you’ll get the opportunity to put your unique fingerprint on the employee experience at Northern.  You’ll be an active member of the growing Human Resources function that is building creative solutions on how to attract, develop and retain top talent for our organization.  We are a team that champions change, removes roadblocks and builds a culture where everyone can win together!  You’ll be assigned a meaningful project in one of the following disciplines 

Some of the responsibilities will include:  

• Be an active member of the growing Human Resources team by providing creative ideas on process efficiency.  Including streamlining processes across all 3 DCs to ensure consistencies.   
• Assist in many upcoming projects such as distributing and analyzing the employee engagement survey and launching the annual performance review cycle.  

• Reviews and refreshes the company onboarding process including new hire packets, onboarding checklist for management, and template creation to support communication and successful onboarding plans.   
• Assists and coordinates special events as needed.

What we look for in our Interns:  

• Must be enrolled or a recent graduate from a 2-4 year Associates or Bachelor’s program  
• Demonstrated leadership capability in previous work experience and/or extracurriculars 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills 

• Coachable and self-motivated to learn and exceed your own expectations 
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word 

Compensation:  $20/hourly 

Location:  Fort Mill, SC (onsite)
