Description


PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
To accurately pick product for replenishment of warehouse pick locations or for direct shipment to a customer or store.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

1. Completes all required equipment sign out and inspection paperwork.

2. Picks product based on product label information. Verifies correct product is picked using radio frequency scanner.

3. Stacks picked product on pallets so as to allow for safe transit to final destination.

4. Transports completed pick order to directed replenishment staging, anchor floor, wrapper staging, or dock destination.

5. Follows all standard operating procedures and adheres to all stated productivity requirements while performing the job.

6. Maintains all work areas, including replenishment and pick locations in a neat and orderly condition.

7. Works safely and complies with all established safety rules and practices.

8. Keeps supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems and related information necessary for effective management.

9. Performs related work as apparent or assigned.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• High School education or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse work experience required.
• Ability to work a varied schedule based upon the needs of the business.
• Ability to accurately read and match numbers.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions and communicate to personnel.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work in a manner that promotes a safe working environment.
• Ability to contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Ability to obtain equipment license or power equipment certification as required.

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the facility during required length of the shift.

• Specific vision abilities include depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to talk and hear.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Ability to work at heights up to 32 feet.
• Ability to operate stock picker or other power equipment as necessary.
